CHS Young Scientist Award

Ms. Ernestine Korkor Kubi, Senior Research Assistant with the H3Africa Kidney Disease Research Lab has won the Young Scientist Award at the just ended 3rd Biennial College of Health Sciences Scientific Conference. Ms. Kubi had her bachelor’s degree at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. She recently graduated with an MPhil in Molecular Biology from the University of Ghana, Department of Biochemistry Cell and Molecular Biology. She currently is a Senior Research Assistant at Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research with the H3Africa Kidney Disease Research team.  Her current research work is on identifying genetic predispositions to chronic kidney disease in sub-Saharan Africa. Ms. Kubi is a young career scientist with interest in genetics, genomics, epigenetics and molecular bases of complex diseases.

The Management and Staff of the Institute applaud her for this great achievement.
